# Worldly Product Impact Calculator API

> Manage products, purchase orders, and impact reports with the PIC API.

## Overview

Worldly's [Product Impact Calculator](https://worldly.io/tools/supply-chain-data/pic/) (PIC) API allows you to create and manage your products and purchase orders programmatically. You can generate and retrieve:

* Scope 3 impact reports

* French Eco-Scores

### Capabilities

You'll be able to manage your inventory and leverage data in PIC to perform the following functions:

* **Search**
  * PIC default categories, materials, components, packaging
  * Your PIC products and purchase orders, FEM assessments that have been shared with you, and your custom Higg MSI and Product Module objects.
* **Create** products in your Product library using our 269 categories.
* **Customize** products by:
  * Refining material blends by composition % or weight, cutting efficiency, product weight
  * Leveraging your MSI custom materials, trims, packaging
  * Linking PO's to FEM assessments that were shared with you by your Tier 1 suppliers ([Higg FEM](/data-dictionary/fem)).
* **Update** product and purchase order information.
* **Delete** products and purchase orders from PIC.
* **Generate** Scope 3 impact reports, and French Eco-Scores

The Worldly PIC API is a JSON query API. All parameters are sent as JSON.
