Introduction

The Worldly Product Module includes a full analysis of the product inputs and processes to calculate a cradle-to-grave (ie raw material through end of use) product impact assessment. The PM API allows you to automatically send your MSI materials to Product Module to fill out product bill of materials. You can further customize the product within Product Module or use the Product Module defaults. The impacts for the products can then be pulled back into your third-party system. Note that Product Module does not include scores and will only have LCIA impacts available.

Example Use Case

PM Slide After creating materials in MSI, the user can use the materials to create a Bill of Materials in Product Module. The Product is automatically created in Product Module. The product Higg ID and product impacts are returned back to the PLM as part of the response when the product is created. The user can further customize the product within product module if they choose. The PLM can search for changes made by users directly in product module and pull those updated impacts into the PLM. The PLM can also push changes to the product made in the PLM to product module, and retrieving the updated impacts in the response.
